What this report checks
This tool is for ordinary Constructed Commander with one commander. It retrieves current Scryfall card data so you do not need to enter colors or card types. It checks the selected commander’s eligibility, each card’s current Commander status and full color identity, and—in deck-list mode—the usual singleton limit and 100-card count including the commander. A passing condition is not a complete legality ruling.
For Tolabow, Loch Rascal, choose one additional color other than blue. Its corrected permission applies to the complete identity of instant and sorcery cards, and separately allows any basic land. A blue-and-red spell such as Mystic Retrieval fits a red choice. Ancient Grudge also has green in its identity from flashback, so it does not fit that same choice. An off-color creature does not gain the spell exception. The commander’s current format eligibility is still reported independently.
Bring a card or a whole list
Use exact English card names, one per line. Quantities such as 1 Sol Ring and 10 Island are supported, along with common (SET) collector-number decorations. Commander and Deck headings are recognized. Sideboard, Maybeboard, Considering and Companion sections are excluded and disclosed in the report. Names that cannot be found and lines that cannot be parsed remain visible for correction.
If your commander is already in the list, it is counted there; otherwise one selected commander is added to the count. Short lists are reported as incomplete. Single-card mode can compare several cards without applying a whole-deck count or singleton verdict.
Read update notes in context
The report highlights Tolabow’s Oracle correction and identifiable meld, double-faced and Adventure contexts from the October bulletin. Announced changes are informational until the effective rules adopt them. Other Rulebreaker abilities, paired commanders, backgrounds, companions and unusual deckbuilding exceptions require manual review. The tool does not simulate gameplay, validate every Oracle restriction, choose replacement cards, or check MBC Draft registration rules. Use the Draft and format guide for those games.

Card data and current Commander status come from Scryfall . Each resolved card links to its current card entry. The rules basis is Comprehensive Rules 903 and the effective document , Tolabow’s official Oracle correction , and the October 19 update bulletin . For an event disagreement, take the exact card, cited source and report to the organizer or judge.
